Weir Farm Art Center. National Historic Trust. Artist Residency. 2017

Some studio views- work in progress from my artist residency at Weir Farm Art Center. National Historic Trust.  I created my own sheets of plastic recycled "paper" from what I consumed during my stay as well as repurposed collages and studies which I adhered to sheets of colored gels.  The forms were hand cut from these sheets, assembled and reconfigured to explore volume.

Here is the LOCAL PRESS about my experience at Weir Farm.  Also see COLLAGES created based on my daily walks through the woods in which I collected, pressed and incorporated leaf forms (cut from gels) compromised by bugs and disease.  These bug-ridden leaves document the precise time of year and the patterns comprise found -nature made- reductive drawings, contemplating cycles of nature.
